Whistler Village Condos Fine Print

We look forward to your visit at Whistler Blackcomb Resort. The following information has been compiled to clarify Whistler Village Condos’ (WVC) terms and policies, and to help answer questions you may have re: your stay at one or more of our Whistler rental properties.


Prices & Taxes
Prices quoted by Whistler Village Condos do not include the following taxes: Goods & Services Tax (GST) 7%, Hotel Taxes 10%, and Resort Fees 5%.

Payment Methods
Payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, and are processed by a third party.

Credit Card Charges
A charge of $25 CDN will be applied for use of more than two credit cards for payment of each reservation; also in the case of a refund or change of booking.

Deposits for Accommodations & Activities
Deposits must be made to Whistler Village Condos equal to one night’s stay, within 24 hours of making reservations. Activity deposits are due in full.

Extra Person Charges
Each property is priced for up to 2 guests per bedroom. There is a $20 CDN charge per person for more than 2 people per bedroom. Two bedroom units include 4 guests with a maximum of 6 people, 3 bedrooms include 6 guests with a maximum of 8 people, and 4 bedrooms include 8 guests with a maximum of 10. Roll aways and cribs are available for an additional fee. Please note, there are a maximum number of guests permitted per property as determined by the property owner.

Final Payment
The remaining balance of the total is due 7 days prior to the arrival date. For bookings made 7 days or less prior to arrival, the total amount is due at the time of confirmation of the booking.

Cancellations made after the final payment date are fully non-refundable. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights that have been reserved, regardless of guest arrival or departure. Activity fees will be fully refunded if cancellations are made 48 hours prior to the activity date; otherwise they are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued on partially unused days of bookings.

Security Deposit
Each reservation will be required to sign a pre-authorization credit card slip ($500- $1000 CDN) upon check in. Provided no charges are incurred for excess cleaning, property damage, or phone calls, the credit card slip will be voided approximately four weeks after departure.

Liability Limitations
Whistler Village Condos will not be liable for early departures or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, travel or traffic delays, mechanical failures, illness, death in the family, natural disasters, and government stoppage of flights.

Smoking or Pets are not Permitted
All Whistler Village Condos rental accommodations have a non-smoking, no pet policy. Smoking outside of the unit is permitted.

Number of Guests
Each reservation is made for a specific number of guests. Prior to your arrival, WVC requires notification of any change in the size of your group. The number of guests cannot exceed the number permitted by the property owner. A minimum age requirement of 21 applies to the person responsible for the reservation. Whistler Village Condos acts as an agent for the property owner, and accepts no liability on their behalf.

Housekeeping & Laundry Facilities
Our rental properties will be clean and ready for your arrival. A housekeeping charge of $90 will be added to bookings of 5 nights or less. Daily housekeeping is available for an extra fee. For stays of eight days or more, we offer a complimentary midweek cleaning. All properties have laundry facilities either in the unit or in the building.

Adequate quantities of towels will be provided for the number of people booked. Delivery of extra towels is available upon request for an additional fee.

All Whistler Village Condos rental accommodations are equipped with bed and bath linens, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, flat screen TVs, DVRs and movies. Kitchens are equipped with crockery, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and full-sized appliances. We also provide soap, shampoo, facial tissue, bathroom tissue, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher powder, as well as a starter supply of laundry soap. There is free Wi-Fi, as well as excellent cell service in Whistler.

Multiple Properties
Please note that all rental properties are privately-owned. If renting more than one property, please make sure that inventory stays in the property it came from. Groups renting more than one property will be required to pay a deposit which will be refunded in full, once the properties have been checked. A restocking charge will be deducted from this fee if items have been moved to other properties.

Garbage Disposal
Each complex has a garbage room. It is the responsibility of the guest to remove their garbage. Please do not leave garbage outside, as you will receive a fine from the Strata Corporation in charge of Whistler complexes.

Telephone Use
All local phone calls are free. Long distance calls must either be charged to you own calling card, placed with a purchased telephone card, or made by cell phone.

Hot Tubs
Whistler Village Condos regularly maintains private tubs for the accommodations that include them. Guests must use hot tubs at their own risk. The Strata Corporation maintains the communal hot tubs for the various complexes. If you experience any problems please call our office at 604-902-6900 and we will alert them. Occasionally hot tubs may need to be shut down for maintenance to protect the health of users.

All Whistler Village Condos rental properties have a specified parking stall for one vehicle. Some larger properties have two stalls. There is visitor parking available at most complexes on a first come, first served basis. Oversized vehicles are difficult to accommodate at Whistler and parking for such vehicles may not be available at peak times. Parking instructions are unique to each complex and must be followed.

Once your holiday is over, please plan to vacate your accommodations by 10 AM so that we may prepare for incoming guests. Late check outs must be prearranged with the office the night before, and will be dependent on cleaning and arrival schedules. When departing please ensure that the property is locked and all keys, garage door openers, and parking passes are returned to the office. A fee will be charged for lost or unreturned items.

To avoid extra cleaning charges, the property must be left in good condition. All garbage should be removed and kitchenware left clean. Whistler Village Condo’s staff will be responsible for laundering the linens and the final cleaning.
